NFL Scout Greg Gabriel stated this to the NationalFootballPost today.

MY VIEW: I love Newton, he definitely had the stats but the TEAM had the losses.  At the end of the day, it’s about the team & wins.  Newton has made the Panthers a better team overall, can RG3 and Luck do that should be the real question.
