NEWS | Several Shootings and Several Wounded Over the Weekend in CT

A man was shot in the face and torso in New Haven. 29-year-old Darrell Moye was shot Friday night on Lilac St around 10pm. Witnesses said he was approached by a group of people while he was on his porch and that’s when they gunshots went off. He is in stable condition.

2 separate shootings occurred in Hartford. One man was shot in the leg around 1am on Bedford St. 20 minutes later, another man was shot in the chest and hand on Enfield St. Both survived and police do not think the shootings are related.

This morning, a shooting occurred in Hartford again where a man was shot 4 times in his left torso on Garden St. He is in critical condition.

A woman, in Hamden, was shot Saturday when was shooting occurred on Shelter Ave & Goodrich St. There’s no word on her condition.

CT State Troopers killed a man who was threatening people with a knife on Thursday in Torrington. Frank Escribano was 78 years old.
