Cynthia Robertson, a purchasing agent, is suing her brother, who was her boss, for firing her over cell phone usage at work.
David Bohn was in jail for a month for federal tax charge and Robertson is claiming she was fired because she assisted federal agents with the investigation. Her lawsuit states:
He was charged with using nearly $228,000 in company money for personal expenses — family vacations, gun purchases, and improvements to his Redding home including a fish pond — and not claiming it as income
The Preferred Utilities, of Danbury CT, state they fired her because she was not “clocking out” while using her phone for personal calls and “badgering” employees for information she was authorized to view.
