49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh was impressed with Colin Kaepernick’s performance as well as teammates and Niner fans.

Harbaugh made the decision at the last practice between originial starting quarterback Alex Smith and backup Kaepernick.

Kaepernick will be starting against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday. Smith was out last week due to a concussion but seems to have recovered, but once he’s FULLY healthy, be prepared for Smith to fight for his starting job.
