NEWS | Newtown Town Officials Remove Memorials

Newtown Connecticut have decided to remove the memorial around their town 15 days after the tragedy that caused nation wide heartbreak.

The families of the children and adults, victims of the massacre, visited the memorials for the last time and by themselves and were allowed to take some of the gifts from people across the world.

“It has a very kind of an empty feel, but a positive feel,” said Gary Seri, who  recalled the Friday events. “But you know that for us to heal as a community  that had to end, the memorials had to come down.” –
