NBA | Murdered Player’s “Suspected” Wife Spends His $1M Life Insurance Payout In Less Than a Year!

As if she didn’t already look suspect.

Former NBA player Lorenzan Wright was murdered in 2010 (still unsolved) and 14 months after, his ex-wife Sherra Wright spends his life insurance payout which was over a million dollars within 10 months.

Family members are angry as the judge stated the money should be used for supporting the 6 kids the couple had — even though that’s common sense!

Commercial Appeal reports:

Her spending was brisk and prodigious — $32,000 for a Cadillac Escalade; $26,000 for a Lexus; $69,000 on an assortment of furniture; $11,750 for a trip to New York; $339,000 to buy and improve a new house; $7,100 for a deposit on a swimming pool; $5,000 for lawn equipment; $277 for dinner and a movie; $34,000 on lawyers.

All within 10 months.

Even though police suspected her before since she refused to speak to police in 2010, they will now be investigating even more after this “shopping spree”.

If she continued to live the lifestyle that she had become accustomed to, then it would have been easy for her to go through $1 million dollars in that amount of time especially if you don’t have any coming in. Maybe she thought without thinking.
