NCAA | Already An UPSET In The Tournament

The NCAA tournament has just begun and ALREADY there is an upset.

Seed 5 Oklahoma St (24-9) played against seed 12 Oregon (27-8) today and lost 55 to 68!

Everything was going OKSU’s way as they were shooting 40% in the paint compared to Oregon’s 39% and 18 turnovers. However, OKSU struggled at the free throw line, only making 8 out of 15 and struggled behind the three line, making only 5 out of 17.

Oregon’s bench was a factor in this game as they scored 17 points versus OKSU’s bench, scoring only 9.

Oregon’s Kamzemi led the team with 11 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. OKSU’s Smart led his team with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.

The Ducks move on to the next round and will play Saint Louis, a 4 seeded team in the Midwest Region who beat 14 seed New Mexico St today 64 to 44.
