According to the NFL, Jerry Jones and Tony Romo had a serious talk when he got the new contract extension.
As part of the heady contract, owner Jerry Jones received an assurance from Romo that he’d spend “Peyton Manning-type time” at the team facility, Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com reported Saturday. – NFL.com, Marc Sessler
Basically, Jones wants him to call more plays like when Manning recognizes the defense that is set up and changes the play. And of course, not choke and close out games like Eli. Can Romo do it?
