A Hartford Connecticut native and former Notre Dame full back (2005-08, jersey #44) Asaph Schwapp, has died at the age of 26 after a long term battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Schwapp played in the United Football League in 2010 after he was cut from the Dallas Cowboys in 2009. He tore his ACL and called it quits.
