Alyssiah Wiley, 20, has been missing since April 20 near Dairy Queen near Eastern Connecticut State University. She was reported missing April 26 and friends say Wiley said she was going to West Haven that day.
Connecticut State Police used divers to search ponds nearby for any leads on her disappearance.

Wiley’s family has organized its own searches. They are are planning an Awareness and Prayer March in Beardsley Park on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. A bus will bring volunteers from the ShopRite Supermarket on Campbell Avenue in West haven to the park in Bridgeport’s North End, according to a Facebook page set up by Wiley’s mother.
“We’re leaving no stone unturned in the search for this young lady,” said Lt. J. Paul Vance. “We’ve been checking every large body of water from Willamantic south. We’re using our airplane, helicopter, canines and dive team.”
