NBA | JR Smith Declines Knicks’ Offer

NY Knicks offered JR Smith a $2.9M offer and according to ESPN NY Jared Zwerling, Smith declined the offer and will become a free agent.

NY Post reported last month that Smith might opt the deal and Knicks can make another offer for $4.9M if they want to keep the “6th Man of the Year”.  League sources say Smith will more than likely resign with the Knicks. Knicks also lost veteran guard Jason Kidd as he retired after 19 seasons.
