NBA |Bucks Monta Ellis Opting Out From $11M; Three Teams Interested Including Lakers

Milwaukee Bucks are losing one of their star players, Monta Ellis, who had one year left in his contract worth $11M. Ellis averaged 19 points per game and 6 assists.

Ellis, who is good friends with Dwight Howard, has the Lakers interested in signing him. Will this get Howard to stay?

However, according to ESPN, Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks are interested as well. We’ve heard the name Hawks a lot in the past few days as they want to sign Howard and Clippers free agent Chris Paul. The Hawks definitely got the salary cap room but no one is confirming anything.

Denver Nuggets guard Andre Iguodala also opting out of his contract this week to become free agent.

Seems like it’s going to be a very interesting few weeks to come.
