Former South Africa president and the first black African to hold office, has been reported to be on life support.
The 95-year-old revolutionist hasn’t opened his eyes in days since June 22 according to CBS News. On the 23rd, he was listed as critical and now, his family reported to the media that he is now on life support.
After his term that ended in 1999, Mandela started his own foundation to fight against HIV and AIDs. Besides his many accomplishments, foundations, and support, he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 and is known to people across Africa as the “father of the nation”.
