NBA | Pacers Offer Knicks’ Chris Copeland 2 Year Deal

The Indiana Pacers have offered Knicks’ outstanding rookie a two year deal worth $6M. It does not mean Copeland will become a Pacers. Knicks have time to match the offer.

Knicks just gave JR Smith a multimillion dollar deal with Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire on the roster, being the two highest paid players on that team.

Copeland was shooting at 48% in the regular season and 40% in the postseason. He had some factor plays in the playoff run for the Knicks that was cut short in a Game against the Pacers. The last 5 games of the Pacers series, he had 9 threes total.
