New York Giants star receiver Victor Cruz felt the shock and heartbreak a lot of people in the nation felt when the “not guilty” verdict came back for the murder and manslaughter charges of Trayvon Martin against George Zimmerman.

Cruz tweeted with anger, “Thoroughly confused. Zimmerman doesn’t last a year before the hood catches up to him.”

After the tweet however, he did apologize for the message.
