Not a good week for amusement park rides. One woman was killed at Six Flags in Texas on a rollercoaster ride. Now multiple injuries occurred on a ride at Cedars Point.

According to wkyc.com, six people were injured on Shoot The Rapids ride.

Park spokesperson Bryan Edwards said the Shoot the Rapids ride malfunctioned and rolled back down the lift hill. Witnesses told the Sandusky Register several people jumped into the water to try and keep the boat upright.
