Due to the PED scandal, MLB reported that Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez will more than likely be suspended until 2015, having him out all 2014 season. There are other players that will be suspended as well.
Several sources familiar with the talks said tense deliberations between Rodriguez and commissioner Bud Selig’s office broke down completely Saturday after Selig told officials he would no longer negotiate.
Rodriguez did state at a news conference that he will work out with the Yankees and go to Chicago Monday for the Yankees/White Sox game.
The other players that will be suspended accepted a 50-game ban which is offered to first offenders.
