WTNH reports that an estranged boyfriend shot his ex girlfriend in a crowded Family Dollar store multiple times putting her in critical condition at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut.

The shooter also shot himself but is listed in stable condition.

Police have not released the names from the incident at happened this afternoon.
