One of the top franchises in the NBA haven’t been doing much in the offseason and it seems very shocking how patient they are. No new coach, no new help for Kobe Bryant except rookie Julius Randle and Jeremy Lin from the Rockets, and then lost Pau Gasol to the Chicago Bulls.
They have finally started working more on the coaching issue according to ESPN reports. Lakers management have five coaches in mind:
Byron Scott, Mike Dunleavy, George Karl, Kurt Rambis, Alvin Gentry and Lionel Hollins
But if you look at those names, three of those fives have already landed coaching jobs.
Even though Lakers said they will not take advice from Kobe on who to chose, Bryant has been speaking highly of Scott who seems to be the favorite.
