A side some may have never seen of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

In Saturday’s preseason game against the Houston Texans, safety DJ Swearinger hit Broncos receiver Wes Welker in the head, giving him his third concussion this year. Manning approached the safety and bumped heads after scoring a touchdown which drew a flag. Manning was upset because of the unnecessary hit in a preseason game.

The NFL fined Manning, for basically defending his player, $8,268. Manning told ESPN:

“I accept it. Money well spent”.
