It has been finalized. Actress Paula Patton has finally filed divorce papers after debating for months as the singer Rob Thicke begged for her love back consistently.

The two met when Patton was 16 in 1991 and have been together ever since, married in 2005 and had their first child in 2010.

The separation began when a picture was posted on social networks of Thicke taking a picture with a woman not realizing there was a mirror behind the two, exposing Thicke using his hands in a sexual manner. There have been rumors of other women Thicke had affairs with but were never confirmed.

Patton will fight for joint custody of their son Julian.
