Bad news for the New England Patriots after a dominating two wins they needed to prove they were the same Patriots before the blowout against Kansas City Chiefs Week 4.
ESPN reported that linebacker Jerod Mayo and star running back Stevan Ridley are both out for the season. However coach Bill Bellichick told Boston radio WEEI:
“Unfortunately I don’t think it looks too good, but we’ll see what we get back [from tests]. We’ll wait until we get more specific information, but I don’t think it’s minor, let’s put it that way.”
Ridley has 340 yards this season and 2 touchdowns. Mayo has 53 tackles and one sack with them progressing defense.
