NY Jets To Wait For Defensive Coordinator While Former Coach Ryan Signs With Another AFC East Team

New York Jets see the options out there but are patiently waiting for a defensive coordinator who is still working in the postseason.

Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is who the Jets want to interview but by rule, must wait until the Seahawks season is officially over. Seahawks will be playing the Packers in the NFC Championship next week.

ESPN sources claim that Quinn will receive more than just an offer from the Jets.

Former Jets head coach Rex Ryan just signed with a NY team, the Buffalo Bills. Ryan seems to not want to leave the AFC East Division. Many believed Ryan was going to sign with the Falcons has he had a interview with the organization for over 5 hours.

Ryan will sign a 5 year deal with the Bills worth $5.5M a year.
