Philadephia Eagles have made some interesting trades, cuts and signings in the past two years. DeSean Jackson and Lesean McCoy stood out and now Tim Tebow getting a one year contract with his former teammate Mark Sanchez. The Eagles VP of player personnel Ed Marynowitz had a news conference and promises that the Tebow signing is not a joke.

”Obviously, we were intrigued with what we saw there.

We saw a player who improved from the last time we saw him live, which was when he was here with New England. We had some conversations and some discussions, and we felt that it was an opportunity to bring in someone who could compete for a spot.”

I’ll believe it when he makes the 53-man roster.
