Edena Hines, 33, was found stabbed to death in New York City early today. Hines, step granddaughter of famous actor Morgan Freeman, was found stabbed several times in the torso in Washington Heights at 3 this morning.

Police found her ex over her lifeless body crying hysterically and he was taken to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation according to Fox News.

Hines grandmother was Freeman’s first wife.
