NBA player JR Smith announced via Instagram that he will staying in Cleveland with Lebron James and longtime teammate Iman Shumpert.
According to ESPN, the contract is $10M for two years.
Smith had an exceptional year, convincing NBA fans that maybe it was Carmelo Anthony’s “gunning ways” that made Smith look like an “ok” player as he never got to do much every season with the Knicks (except the one season he won 6th Man of the Year). However, like at the Knicks, Smith’s unstoppable shots came up short in the playoffs yet again and the ‘not so smart’ fouls began.
