LSU running back Leonard Fournette ended up not making the Heisman finalist list as he was once the favorite to win the Heisman trophy.
During LSU three game losing streak, Fournette’s stats dropped but he still leads the FEB. With 158.3 yards per game according to nfl.com.
Fournette told reporters at New Orleans Times-Picayune that he’s not mad about it:
“..everything happens for a reason. It is what it is. At the end of the day, the best running backs in the NFL didn’t win the Heisman.”
