Michael “Air” Jordan’s retirement gift to Kobe Bryant is pretty awesome.
Kobe received 30 pairs of sneakers released by the Jordan Brand line. They were presented to him at the Jordan Brand All-Star party last night. Included in the 30 sets are the purple and gold versions of Air Jordan III and VIII that Bryant wore in 2002-03 season.
Jordan Brand’s president Larry Miller stated:
“The Jordan Brand is about more than basketball, it’s about leaving a legacy and honoring those who have left a legacy. Tonight the brand was able to honor one of the game’s great players and the legacy he created.”
