Five Brooklyn teens were being charged with raping a woman at Brownsville playground in Brooklyn New York.
The story became national news as the father left his daughter with the five teens who approached them with a gun in the park. Many disputed his decision to leave his own child in that situation even though he ran for help. He didn’t get help at first when he went to a cornerstire as he was drunk and slurring his words.
NY Post then reported a rape kit was done but there were no injuries reported but DNA was found that matched two of the suspects. The teens then claimed they saw the girl and man having sex in the park. Many didn’t believe as they are father and daughter. The daughter just reconnected with her father on Facebook.
But today, the District Attorney Ken Thompson is dropping the charges confirming the teen boys claim. The 18-year old girl was having sex with her father before the alleged “rape”.
“She also refuses to cooperate with any prosecution against her father, who was engaging in sexual conduct with her.
That night, this young woman’s father and the five young men engaged in conduct that was reprehensible and wrong, but because of the lack of reliable evidence, criminal charges simply cannot be sustained.”
