Dallas Cowboys Offered Picks To Get First Round Quarterback

The Dallas Cowboys took Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott at the fourth pick and had the second pick outlined. However, it didn’t go as planned. The Denver Broncos stole their pick, making a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, and got Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch.

Cowboys Jerry Jones has said he wasn’t planning on drafting a quarterback. But the businessman was offering his second and fourth round pick for the dual quarterback according to USA Today.

USA Today confirmed that “Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team made “a big push” to get back into the first round”.
