Legendary Womens Basketball Coach’s Health Declining


Pat Summit, legendary coach of women’s college basketball, is not in good shape as reports state her health is declining.

Summit was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2011, her last season as a coach for the Tennessee Volunteers in NCAA. The disease has advanced since and people are only expected to live 8 to 10 years after diagnosis.

Eight championships were won in the Summit era at Tennessee and she brought the girls to the Final Four 18 times.
