Welcome Danbury’s New Police Chief

The former Stratford Police Chief, Patrick Ridenhour, is moving to Danbury as current chief, Al Baker, is retiring after 11 years.

The ceremony begins at 6pm today at Danbury’s City Hall.

Patrick Ridenhour has been chief of police in Stratford since 2012 and spent two decades with Waterbury police. His father and son works for Waterbury police. He got his bachelors fro mCharter Oak State, his masters from Springfield College and apso graduted the FBI National Academy.

His salary in Stratford in $92k but in Danbury, as Police Chief, you earn $120,000 to $130,000 a year plus benefits.
