NBA Makes Changes To Foul Rules

Certain rules have changed in the NBA according to US Today Sports.

Hack-a-shaq rule, known as the “away from the play fouls” has changed. If a player, without the ball, is fouled in the last 2 minutes in any quarter, the player who gets fouled gets to shoot free throws and the team gets possession. Fouls on a player before an inbound pass is done ends in the same result.

Jumping on an opposing players back is an automatic flagrant.
