FILE – In this Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 file photo, Justin Bieber arrives at the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. With his recent batch of hit singles and semi-grown-up sound – including the electro-pop “Where Are U Now” with DJ-producers Skrillex and Diplo – adult men have begun attending the church of Bieber, and while some have issues admitting it, other proudly say they are Beliebers. Sorry and What Do You Mean, currently at Nos. 2 and 4 on Billboards Hot 100 chart, helped Bieber solidify his comeback after years of a broken image, which included arrests, public smoking and fainting onstage that led to hospitalization. TMZ and NY Daily News confirmed that singer Justin Bieber turned down $5M from the Republican party to perform at one of their conventions.
The offer was to perform 45 minutes at the Quicken Loans Arena but Bieber does not want to be linked to Donald Trump’s team.
The promoter wanted to reassure Bieber it would not be endorsing Trump or any GOP politics but Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun believed otherwise.
