LA Times and several sources report that Disney’s biggest animated movie is coming back to a theater near you. The remake will be a ‘live-action’ one like the new ‘Jungle Book” film that came out earlier this year that grossed $965M.
‘The Lion King’, sitting at the 27th spot for the most grossing film of all time, will be using the same director from the live-action remake of ‘The Jungle Book”, Jon Favreau. The 1994 movie is one of the two films from the 90s in top 30 with the most money made of all time. The 1993 film, ‘Jurrassic Park’, sits at 21.
