Animals Left For Dead At Ripley’s Aquarium Due To Tennessee Wildfire

USA TODAY reports that thousands of animals have been left for dead at Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Employees were ordered to evacuate and left behind 10,000 animals.

..according to Tennessee Ripley Attractions General Manager Ryan DeSear. DeSear said he wasn’t sure if flames reached Ripley’s Aquarium, but a “raging fire” was about 50 yards away from the aquarium when workers were evacuated on Monday night.

“Nothing is more important than human life. Fish can be replaced. It sucks.”” – USA TODAY
