39-year old defensive back Keion Carpenter, who played for the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills, was pronounced dead this morning while on family vacation in Miami Florida according to Bleacher Report.

It has been reported by CBS News that he was in a coma 24 hours before his death. He was playing with his son and fell, hitting his head and then slipping into a coma.

He played college football with the Virginia Tech Hokies and played for the Bills and Falcons three years each.
