Former Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan has nothing really nice to say about being fired from the Bills in his second season while having a five year contract.
When asked if any ill will toward the Bills, he told NY Daily News:
“I don’t wish them (the Bills) bad will. “I don’t. But I don’t wish them luck, either. I’ll be honest: I don’t wish them good luck. I don’t wish them bad luck. I just don’t wish them luck. I wish the Jets luck.”
Ryan has been a defensive coordinator in the NFL until the Baltimore Ravens in 2008 where he was a coordinator and assistant head coach. He won his first Super Bowl when the Ravens beat NY Giants 34 to 7 in the year 2000. The NY Jets were the first to have him as a head coach (09-14). He went to the AFC Championship twice with the Jets but lost. That was the last time the Jets have been in the playoffs. Bills haven’t been in the playoffs since 1999.
