Former NBA star Stephen Jackson said on “I Am Rapaport” podcast that he would still have good game despite smoking marijuana a few hours before according to Kyle Schnitzer of the NY Post. There were other times he would, however, mess up and need to calm down.

“I just gotta be real, you know it’s been a couple games where I smoked before games and had great games.

It’s been some games where I smoked before the game and was on the bench after three minutes sitting on the sideline, ‘Please calm down. This high has to calm down.’ I done shot three shots that went over the backboard, like, I’m going to be honest, like, ‘Ah, I gotta calm down.’”

He also claims that former Warriors head coach Don Nelson knew and was fine with it.
