Alshon Jeffery Turned Down Vikings Deal To Sign With Eagles & “MVP Quarterback”

Former Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as the Eagles desperately needed help with receivers. Ian Rapoport reported that Jeffrey was offered a multi-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings and security but turned it down. 

Jeffrey and Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz exchange texts when it was confirmed he would be an Eagle reported by and ESPN NFL. Reports state that Jeffrey believes that Wentz is an MVP type quarterback and hopes to get him there. Wentz supposedly replied stating he did not want MVP but that he wants the Super Bowl championship. There are rumors that Jeffrey said the Eagles will win the championship. But we all remember when Jeffrey made the same promise with the Chicago Bears.
