NCAA Football Player Shot 3 Times In Road Rage Incident


South Florida football player has been arrested after being shot three times in a road rage incident in Tampa Florida over the weekend. Defensive back Hassan Childs was arrested for three counts of aggravated assault, one count of misdemeanor possession of marijuana according to NY Daily News.

A man called Tampa police Saturday around 11:15pm that a man pointed a gun at him, his wife and child at Eagles Point Apartments. The man, Jovanni Jiminez, shot Childs claiming self defense. He shot Childs in the torso and upper arm. Both men had concealed weapon permits according to an ESPN report.

Police are still investigation the argument that led to the shooting and witness reports as some claim they were racing next to each other before pulling in the apartment complex.
