YAHOO reports that the White House wants an immediate budget cut of $18B from medical research, community development and other programs to help pay for the border wall. President Trump claims that it will be financed by Mexico as he mentioned in his campaign several times.

Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer of New York said to YAHOO, “The administration is asking the American taxpayer to cover the cost of a wall — unneeded, ineffective, absurdly expensive — that Mexico was supposed to pay for, and he is cutting programs vital to the middle class to get that done. Build the wall or repair or build a bridge or tunnel or road in your community? What’s the choice?”
