Sources confirm that a 50-page report by the NY law firm, Covington & Burling, found at least 12 faculty members sexually abused and assaulted students at Choate Rosemary Hall boarding school in Wallingford Connecticut. This has been ongoing since the 1960s according to the reports.
NY Daily News confirms from the reports that Allegations emerged last year which started the investigation. There were reports back from 1998 where a teacher who taught Spanish was fired but was not reported to police after he was accused by several students of inappropriate touching and sexual assault on a school trip to Costa Rica.
24 victims provided the detailed information about the abuse and no current members of the faculty were named in the report. The report claims teachers subjected their students to “intimate kissing”, “forced or coerced intercourse” and “sexual intercourse”.
