NBA Player Stops Shooting To Receive $500K Bonus

Smart move.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Maurice Harkless was able to earn $500,000 bonus if he shot three-pointers at 35% or above for the season. When he reached 35.1% for the season, he stopped attempting threes according to AOL News. He stop taking threes in the last three games of the season.

Harkless is not a three point shooter anyway which is why he was probably offered the bonus.

He did confirm the bonus yesterday.
