Huffington Post reports that the body cam police video does not match what officers said happened in the fatal shooting of a 15-year old black teen, Jordan Edwards.
Texas police said that the car Edwards and three others were in were riding towards the officers, in reverse, causing him to shoot into the vehicle. In the video, however, the car is riding away from officers.
Police Chief Jonathan Haber claims that the statement was “unintentionally incorrect” and declined to release the video.
The death has been ruled a homicide and the officer is on administrative leave.
