A 36-year old Marine from Georgia and his Canadian girlfriend went missing and were later found dead in a sugarcane field Monday according to NY Daily News reports.

Drew DeVorsney and 52-year old Francesca Matus were strangled and had duct tape around their wrists police say.

The two were last seen at a bar in the town of Corozal. Matus’ car was found abandoned n the sugarcane field.
