This past weekend, Baltimore passed 100 murders which is the highest in 20 years for the city according to Baltimore Journal. Mayor Catherine Pugh has reached out to the FBI for help in solving some of the homicide cases. Pugh is hoping for a response at the end of the week.

Baltimore police department is understaffed and waiting for a new class of recruits says Pugh. There were a total of 344 people killed in Baltimore last year.
