John Anderson, of Pittsford NY, was having his 65th birthday dinner with friends at The Pacuare Lodge in Costa Rica.

According to the restaurants website, you can experience water rafting, zip-lining, canoeing, massages, activity tour and more as their guests.

Anderson fell to his death Saturday trying to get back to the ground from the zip line. His business partner, James ryan Jr., told NY Post that the safety system didn’t work for whatever reason.

He was the co-owner of a property management company named Ryco Management and former CEO of a construction and property development called Willmorite. He has four children.
