Protesters and activist marched outside the FBI headquarters on Roosevelt Road in Chicago after their dissatisfaction with the hotel video released by police last week. The snippets of the video shows Kenneka Jenkisn stumbling around the hotel and ending up in the kitchen where her body was found in the freezer. The vieo, however, never shows Jenkins entering the freezer. Activist Mark Carter told Chicago Tribune reporters that they want another set of eyes, “We’re here at the FBI building asking for a second look.”
Jenkins mother, Teresa Martin, told reporters that the video she seen doesn’t add up, “I’m not a professional, but the FBI, from what I heard, they are professionals. I’m just looking for help — that’s all I’ve been asking for since day one.”
Rosemont police said the case will remain with them despite requests from Jenkin’s family and the public.
