Bad Tackle Kills NCAA Cornerback


A sophomore cornerback dies days later after he suffered a neck injury from a bad tackle Saturday.

19-year old Robert Grays, Midwestern State cornerback, attempted to make a tackle on a Texas A&M Kingsville player when he landed wrong. With 3 minutes left in the game, he was taken off the field by ambulance and then later died at a hospital in Houston.

Gray was ranked 12th in the latest Division II poll according to ESPN.
